Current Research Status and Future Prospects of Aquatic Plant Remediation of Polluted Waters
In order to remove all kinds of inorganic and organic pollutants in water environment,purify polluted water and protect water environment,it is necessary to summarize the research status of aquatic phytoremediation technology.This paper conducted a literature search on the topic of"aquatic plant remediation"by using various online search engines.The results of the search were then studied and summarized,focusing on the mechanisms,factors,advantages and limitations of aquatic phytoremediation,as well as the hot issues for future research.A-quatic phytoremediation is an eco-friendly and advantageous technology for cleaning contaminated water.Its mechanisms include phytovolatilisation,phytodegradation,phytocumulation,phytofixation and root filtration.A-quatic plants play a particularly active role in removing various pollutants.In engineering practice,different com-binations of aquatic plant species should be selected according to the impurities removed to achieve optimal resto-ration.Aquatic plants have been highly successful in cleaning up pollutants from water,but there are still some limitations in the effectiveness and success of remediation techniques.Future research will explore the mecha-nisms and factors affecting aquatic plant remediation in order to achieve efficient and sustainable remediation of water environments by aquatic plants.
