Xiaoshao seawall has various cultural forms,rich humanistic connotations and obvious regional charac-teristics with important value of inheriting the concept of water control,engineering technology and humanistic spirit.However,with the advancement of urbanization,the current seawall cultural heritage has problems such as the destruction of seawall itself and the remains of seawall management facilities,poor environmental features,prominent security risks,and lack of cultural display.How to effectively protect and enhance its features under this background has become the focus of attention.Taking the upgrading of Yinong section of Xiaoshao Seawall as an example,this paper aims to discuss the conservation and style enhancement strategies of the ancient seawall in the suburban area.By sorting out the regional style pattern and characteristic elements and finding out the shortcomings,the characteristic positioning,overall pattern and key areas for renovation and improvement are clarified and the implementation of corridor interface,building control,color guidance,greening improvement and control mechanism are deepened.
