Study on the Evaluation and Enhancement Strategies of University Campus Landscapes—A Case Study of Higher Education Institutions in Hangzhou Region
In order to rationally evaluate and actively enhance the quality of university campus landscapes,this study focuses on eight universities in the Hangzhou region.By utilizing user evaluations of the importance and satisfaction with campus landscapes through a questionnaire,and combining factor analysis,a comprehensive e-valuation system for university campus landscapes is constructed,consisting of four target layers and 24 indicator elements.The Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA)method is employed to assess and optimize the campus landscapes based on satisfaction and importance results.The findings indicate that the key areas for improvement in university campus landscapes include the appropriateness of landscape spatial scale,thermal comfort,environ-mental interference,completeness of service facilities,and provision of informal learning spaces.Secondary ad-justment areas encompass the richness and guidance of ground covering,social facilitation,richness of natural sounds,stimulation of learning interests,provision of experiential learning opportunities,serving as a showcase platform,popular science education,and diversity of activities.In conclusion,targeted optimization suggestions are provided for university campus landscapes,focusing on infrastructure,spatial layout,and experiential activi-ties.
