Research on Diseases and Pests of Panzhou Rosa roxbunghii and Their Control Measures
Plant diseases and insect pests are the restrictive factors to the high-quality development of the Rosa roxbung industry in Panzhou City.This study aims to analyze common pests and diseases of Rosa roxbung in Panzhou and their control methods to promote high-quality development of the Rosa roxbung industry in Pan-zhou.The study analyzed the causes,damage,and occurrence patterns of common pests and diseases of Rosa rox-bung in Panzhou,proposed control methods for common pests and diseases in the area,and examined the effec-tiveness of the proposed control methods through case studies.Results:Common pests and diseases in the Pan-zhou area include pear powdery mildew,pear anthracnose,pear rust,fruit-eating insects,pear aphids,Cnidocampa flavescens,leafrollers and leafhoppers.The control methods proposed in this paper include agricultural,physical,and chemical measures.Case studies showed that there were extremely significant differences in the disease and pest rates before and after the application of the methods proposed in this study(P＜0.01),reducing the rates to less than 10％.There are eight common pests and diseases harmful to pears in the Panzhou area,including three diseases and six insect pests.The control methods proposed in this study have shown good effectiveness.
