Investigation on the Growth Status and Natural Regeneration of Cunninghamia lanceolata in the Northern Region of Qianxi City
This paper investigates and analyzes the growth status of Cunninghamia lanceolata in the northern area of Qianxi city, and explores the natural renewal of Cunninghamia lanceolata. The northern area of Qianxi City was set as the research site, and all stands were naturally regenerated.Cunninghamia lanceolata were divided into three groups according to different forest ages:0~10 a(T1),10~20 a(T2)and 20~30 a(T3).The growth of Cunning-hamia lanceolata in the sample areas was investigated, and the regeneration of seedlings under different forest ages was analyzed. The results show that ① Seedling growth:at T2 stand age,the average tree height, average DBH and average crown width of Cunninghamia lanceolata were the highest, and the difference was significant com-pared with other plots(P<0.05).(P indicates the comparison between groups;P<0.05 indicates the obvious difference between groups;P>0.05 indicates no difference between groups)The overall trend was T2>T3>T1.② Diversity analysis of Cunninghamia lanceolata:Simpson index,Shannon-Wiener index and Pielou evenness in-dex indicated plant diversity, and Simpson index,Shannon-Wiener index and Pielou evenness index of T2 plots were significantly higher than those of T1 plots and T3 plots(P<0.05).③ Stock volume of young stands and in-dividual tree volume:the stock volume of young stands of Cunninghamia lanceolata of the same age was signifi-cantly different, and the stock volume of 10~20 a stood reached the highest, which was significantly different from that of the other two groups(P<0.05).The stock volume per tree of T2 plot was higher than that of the other two groups(P<0.05).④ The number of renewed tree species and the number of renewed new trees:The number of renewed tree species and the number of renewed new trees in the T2 plot were more than those in the other two plots(P<0.05).⑤ Natural regeneration:The natural regeneration dynamic of T2 sample was the best, followed by T1,and finally T3.The growth and reproduction ability of T2 plots is good, and the dead branches and leaves can improve the soil and promote the natural regeneration of forests.Under the age of 10~20a,the seedling growth of Cunninghamia lanceolata is good. The stock volume of young stands and individual tree volume are high, and the natural regeneration dynamics between stands is the best.
