Analysis on the Influence of Environmental Regulation on Green Technology Innovation in Liaoning Province Under the Double-Carbon Target
Based on the global climate situation and international relations,China has put forward a basic national strategy to achieve carbon peak and carbon neutrality by 2030 and 2060 respectively.Liaoning Province,as an old industrial base,has an increasing demand for energy,and the early realization of the"dual-carbon"goal requires environmental regulation and green technological innovation to achieve a reduction in carbon intensity.This paper takes the dual-carbon target as the background and takes 14 cities in Liaoning province as the research object dur-ing 2010-2021.Based on the results of existing studies,panel data is utilized to conduct empirical tests and the threshold regression model is established to explore the real effects of environmental regulation on green techno-logical innovation.The following policy recommendations are proposed.Enterprises should pay attention to green technological innovation on the basis of reasonable and differentiated environmental regulation measures,further improve the level of regional economic development,and strengthen the opening-up and international cooperation,so as to promote the healthy and stable development of the economy of Liaoning Province.
