Flora of Seed Plants in Shangchuan Island Provincial Macaque Nature Reserve of Taishan,Guangdong Province
In order to strengthen the effective management of plant resources in the Taishan Shangchuan Island Macaque Provincial Nature Reserve in Guangdong,the seed plant flora of the reserve was studied using a combi-nation of specimen method and sampling line method.The results show that there are 662 species(including sub-species)of wild vascular plants belonging to 447 genera and 141 families in the protected area,including 628 spe-cies of seed plants belonging to 424 genera and 128 families;The dominant families in terms of seed plant quanti-ty are Poaceae,Asteraceae,Leguminosae,Cyperaceae,Rubiaceae,and other widely distributed families in the world.The flora of the protected area is mainly tropical,which is consistent with its geographical location in the South Asian tropics.At the same time,the reserve also has two Chinese endemic genera.
