Influence of Ventilation Shaft on CO Diffusion Rate in Tunnel
In order to study the diffusion rate of CO in the tunnel, the physical tunnel model is selected in the ex-periment.The CO concentration in the tunnel is measured by the sensor when the shafts with different numbers and positions are switched, and the diffusion rate of CO in the tunnel is calculated and analyzed.According to the test results, the position of the shaft is the key factor affecting the diffusion rate of CO.In the case of a single shaft, the closer the shaft is to the middle area of the tunnel, the higher the CO diffusion rate is.The average diffu-sion rate is 0.1818 mg/(m3·s),which is 5.81 times that of the non-open shaft. In the case of double shafts, when the shaft is located at the entrance and middle of the tunnel, the CO diffusion rate is the highest, and the average diffusion rate is 0.3044 mg/(m3·s),which is 1.63 times and 1.66 times that of the other two conditions,respec-tively.When the three shafts are dispersed in the tunnel entrance and exit and the middle section, the diffusion rate is the best. The average diffusion rate is 0.406 mg/(m3·s),which is 1.33 times that of the double shaft and 2.23 times that of the single shaft.
