Influencing Factors of Indoor Acoustic Environment and Acoustic Planning and Design in Residential Buildings
The development of residential buildings in our country is advancing by leaps and bounds. There have been significant changes in their forms, structures, materials, interior layouts, and service equipment. The func-tionality of residences has expanded including home offices, hosting guests, entertainment, and other purposes, leading to a noticeable increase in the time people spend indoors. The indoor acoustic environment in residential buildings significantly affects residents'comfort, health, and privacy. This paper aims to explore the influencing factors of indoor acoustic environment in residential buildings and propose corresponding acoustic planning and design strategies. This paper first introduces the relevant regulatory requirements for the indoor acoustic environ-ment in residential buildings, then lists commonly observed factors influencing the indoor acoustic environment in residences along with relevant case studies. Finally,it presents key design points to optimize the acoustic environ-ment in residential spaces. The research results indicate that the indoor sound environment of residential buildings is mostly affected by traffic and building equipment. The indoor sound environment quality of residential build-ings can be improved through reasonable building layout, selection of appropriate building sound insulation struc-ture and control of noise and vibration sources.
