Research on the Public Willingness to Pay for Potential Meteorological Risk Sources——A Case Study of Nanyang City
The potential source of meteorological risk is air events with high impact.Taking Nanyang city as an example,by combining Contingent Valuation Method(CVM)with questionnaire survey,this paper assessed the willingness of Nanyang citizens to pay for potential meteorological risk sources.From 2016 to 2020,the high-impact air events closely related to the public in Nanyang city are mainly:blizzard,heavy snow,smog,torrential rain,heavy rain,moderate rain,high temperature,sauna day,high wind,cold wave and other high-impact air e-vents.The level of public concern and willingness to pay for these high-risk air events are assessed The investiga-tion and evaluation show that when the potential risk sources such as blizzard,heavy snow,haze,rainstorm,heavy rain,moderate rain,high temperature,sauna day,strong wind and cold wave occur,the average value that Nanyang citizens are willing to pay is 116.20 yuan/year,72.38 yuan/year,103.57 yuan/year,81.90 yuan/year,48.57 yuan/year,32.38 yuan/year,62.62 yuan/year,72.86 yuan/year,62.38 yuan/year and 74.05 yuan/year respectively.Finally,ac-cording to the results,the social influence of meteorological service in Nanyang City is effectively judged.
