Super Duplex Stainless Steel Slab Ingot Electroslag Remelting Technology for Marine Desulfurization Towers
In view of the problems of steel leakage,slag leakage and poor surface forming in the traditional casting method of super duplex stainless steel,the internal solidification quality and surface state of the ingot were ana-lyzed by changing the power supply system,cooling speed conditions,liquid-solid interface position and other factors in the remelting process.The results show that the remelting process increases the steel-slag boundary area and plays the role of slag washing,so that the remelted steel has high purity and few non-metallic inclusions,which meets the production requirements.In the forming process of remelting the billet,the most suitable process parameters are that the ingot pumping speed is slowly increased from 1.5mm/min to 12mm/min.The top voltage of the furnace is 62V.The secondary current is maintained at 19kA,and the electrode melting speed is in the range of 1100~1200 kg/h.The obtained billet ingots are evenly distributed,and the surface quality is good.There are no defects such as slag inclusion and heavy skin,and the surface grinding amount is less than 3mm,which can be used for subsequent rolling mill rolling and other processes.
