Research on Urban Thermal Environment in Central Urban Area of Hangzhou Under Local Climate Zoning
Taking the main urban area of Hangzhou as an example, this paper analyzes the urban thermal environ-ment of Hangzhou under the framework of Local Climate Zones(LCZ)classification.Integrating multi-source data such as satellite remote sensing images and building vector data, local climate zoning and classification mapping in the central urban area of Hangzhou are carried out,and the distribution pattern of each LCZ type is discussed,as well as the inter-class and intra-class heat characteristics and seasonal differences.① According to the classifi-cation data of urban building vector and ground cover, the LCZ map of the study area was constructed using WUDAPT;② The monthly LST values were obtained by GEE inversion using Landsat 8 satellite remote sensing images;③ Combined with LCZ map and multi-temporal LST data, the differences of thermal environment among different local climate zones in each season are analyzed. The results show that the buildings in the study area are mainly low and medium storey, and most of them are open type.LCZ D in the low vegetation area of natural land cover accounts for the main proportion. The surface temperature of the dense building types in LCZ1-LCZ 3 was higher than that of other building types, and decreased with the increase of building height. The temperature of LCZ A was the lowest for all types except water. In summer, the heat island intensity reached the maximum of the whole year.In spring and autumn, the heat island intensity was similar, but the changing trends were different. In the correlation analysis, the correlation coefficients of characteristic elements of LCZ 5.1 were not consistent with the overall change trend of the city.Despite being a relatively high percentage, they could not dominate the overall change trend. The results of this study can provide a reference for urban planning and design and park construc-tion,and help the sustainable and healthy development of cities.
