Research on Endangered Factors of Lepisanthes unilocularis Leenhouts,an Extinct Plant in the Wild
Lepisanthes unilocularis Leenhouts,as a rare and endangered species protected at the national level with second class,is the Chinese endemic plant.Lepisanthes unilocularis Leenhouts is now an extinct plant in the wild.It is of great value to carry out relevant research and reintroduction to the wild.It also has important reference value for the study of the phylogeny and evolution of Lepisanthes Leenhouts.This paper summarized and ana-lyzed the endangered factors of Lepisanthes unilocularis Leenhouts.The research results show that the main fac-tors affecting the endangerment of the plant include low natural seed setting rate,recalcitrant seed,bad original habitat,genetic influence,human interference and so on.It can provide better guidance for seedling propagation and prepare for the protection and reintroduction of Lepisanthes unilocularis Leenhouts.This study will also bene-fit the research of other endangered species.
