Research on the Treatment of Landfill Leachate by Iron-Carbon Micro-electrolysis
In view of the high concentration of pollutants, the content of organic pollutants and the difficulty of degradation in landfill leachate, the iron-carbon micro-electrolysis method was used to treat the wastewater, and the removal rate of COD in landfill leachate was used to investigate the effects of three main factors, namely ini-tial pH value, reaction time and iron-carbon dosage, and the removal effect of organic pollutants in wastewater. The results showed that the influence of the three factors on the experimental results was in the order of initial pH value>reaction time>iron and carbon dosage. When the initial pH=3,the reaction time was 120min,and the i-ron-carbon dosage was 66g/L;the removal rate of COD in landfill leachate could reach 53.5%.Therefore,iron-carbon micro-electrolysis has a good effect in the treatment of landfill leachate. This study can provide a certain reference for the application of this process in the field of landfill leachate treatment.
