Comparative Study on Plant Biodiversity of Artificial Regeneration State and Natural Regeneration State of Low-Efficiency Cypress Forest Gaps—A Case Study of Hilly Areas in Central Sichuan,China
Forest gap is an important way of forest structure adjustment and an important link in forest community succession process, which plays an important role in promoting ecosystem development. In order to study biodi-versity in natural and artificial regeneration states of low-efficiency cypress forest gaps, forest gaps of 50、100、150、200 m2 were felled in March 2021,and control CK was set.In July 2021 and July 2022,the quadrat survey method was used to investigate and analyze the biodiversity of different large and small forest gaps with understo-ry plants as the research objects.A total of 11892 plants and 49 species belonging to 46 genera and 27 families were recorded in the natural regeneration state gaps, and 15325 plants and 56 species belonging to 52 genera and 31 families were recorded in the artificial regeneration state forest gaps. The analysis results showed that the spe-cies richness Shannon-wiener index,Pielou evenness index and Simpson dominance index of plant diversity under artificial and natural regeneration states were evaluated, and the plant diversity under artificial regeneration state was better than that under natural regeneration state. Therefore,it is the direction of low efficiency cypress forest management to improve the stand structure by reasonable structural control such as thinning, tree species intro-duction and upper layer transparent tending.
