Application Status and Modeling Method of GIS in Tourism Industry
This paper aims to analyze the application of GIS in the field of tourism and discuss the application of GIS modeling method in tourism research.Based on the characteristics of GIS technology and spatial analysis method,this paper studies the application status and development trend in the field of tourism in China.The main achievements in the technical aspect are the GIS tourism resources collection platform,the information manage-ment platform,the Tourism Resources Development,the planning and the visualization;The tourism resources e-valuation,location condition analysis,grid,location selection and other aspects are reviewed.Through the re-search,it is found that GIS is still the main technical support in the analysis and evaluation of tourism resources,and most of the evaluation methods are still based on the analytic hierarchy process(AHP),the single division of tourism resources,multi-index weight method,etc.The innovative development of its method appears to be rela-tively slow.In view of this research situation,the methods of tourism resources research should be continuously expanded and deepened,and the database of tourism resources at the national level should be constructed,which is helpful for the tourism managers to supervise and manage the tourism resources in the whole country.The devel-opment and evaluation of tourism resources should be changed from expert-oriented to tourist-oriented.
