Analysis of Seed Plant Flora in Jinggu Experimental Demonstration Forest Farm
Flora can reflect the changes of natural geographical environment and provide basic information for vegetation ecology and plant introduction and domestication.The composition,distribution types and floristic characteristics of seed plants in experimental demonstration forest in Jinggu County were analyzed.The results are as following:there are 949 species in 573 genera of 148 families(among them 7 species in 6 genera of 5 families belonging to Gymnospermae and 942 species in 567 genera of 143 families belonging to Angiosperms)in the re-gion.The flora of this area has obvious tropical nature,which belongs to the northern margin of the tropics,and shows the transition trend from tropical to subtropical.The seed flora belongs to Yunnan,Burma and Thailand of the Malayan plant subregion of the palaeotropical flora.The analysis of endemic species in China showed that there were 126 endemic species in this region,accounting for 13.28%of the total species,which mainly originated from the southern Yunnan region and southwest China.
