Investigation on Social Participation and Spatial Transformation of Pocket Parks in Mingcheng District,Xi'an
This paper aims to explore social participation and spatial transformation of Xi'an Mingcheng District pocket park on the regional society,environment and economy.By collecting data and analyzing residents'will-ingness,combined with the current situation of laws and regulations and resource allocation,the main barriers to community participation are proposed.In terms of space renovation,green building materials are selected,and re-newable energy technologies,such as solar panels,are integrated to improve energy efficiency.At the same time,local cultural elements are integrated to enhance the ecotourism potential of the garden.The results show that the implementation not only improves environmental safety and ecological benefits,but also boosts the local econo-my,mainly in terms of job creation and tourism development.The conclusion indicated that the effective renova-tion and management strategies significantly improve the community residents'life with a positive impact on the urban environment.Specific suggestions include promoting technological innovation;strengthening cultural activ-ities and community services;establishing a sound monitoring and evaluation mechanism;strengthening commu-nication and cooperation with community residents and relevant stakeholders to effectively improve the quality and functions of pocket parks,promote the regional economic development,improve the community residents'life,and contribute to the sustainable development of the city.
