Study on Cutting Propagation Technology of Petrea Volubilis
Using robust branches of Petrea volubilis as materials, this paper investigates the effects of different hormone types, concentrations, and degree of lignification of cuttings on the rooting of Petrea volubilis cuttings. The results show that among three exogenous hormones tested,IAA had the best overall effect, followed by NAA,and IBA had the worst effect.Among the nine treatment combinations in the experiment,1000 mg/L IAA had the best effect in terms of comprehensive rooting rate, number of adventitious roots, and root length. The degree of lignification of cuttings has a significant impact on the rooting rate of Petrea volubilis cuttings.Lignified branches have the highest rooting rate, followed by semi lignified branches, and tender branch cuttings have the worst roo-ting rate.It points out that different hormone types and concentrations have a significant impact on the cutting propagation of Petrea volubilis.Medium to high concentrations is beneficial for promoting rooting of cuttings, while high concentrations can inhibit growth. After comprehensive analysis,it is believed that 1000 mg/L IAA is the most suitable solution for Petrea volubilis cutting propagation, and woody branches should be selected for cut-tings.
