Influence of Different Forest Management Measures on the Construction of National Reserve Forest Project in Qixingguan District
The influence of different forest management measures on the construction of National Reserve Forest project in Qixingguan District was analyzed,and the practical forest management measures were proposed for the afforestation development in this area.The sample plots of National Reserve Forest project in Qixing Guan Dis-trict,Bijie City,Guizhou Province were selected to carry out the experiment.The standard plots were set up and divided into different treatments combined with different forest management measures,including CK(no tending treatment),T1(thinning+weeding),T2(thinning+weeding+shaping and pruning),T3(thinning+weeding+shaping and pruning+disease control).The effects of different forest management measures on for-est growth in the sample plots of National Reserve Forest projects were analyzed.The overall ranking of tree growth was T3＞T2＞T1＞CK;T3 treatment was the best for individual tree volume and stand volume.The indexes of organic matter,total nitrogen and total potassium of each treatment were higher than CK treatment,and T3 treatment had the most significant advantage.T3 treatment had the lowest soil bulk density.The soil water con-tent and porosity indexes are more dominant.Different forest management measures can promote the growth of forest,ensure the stability of stand structures and improve soil nutrient indexs.The best method is thinning+weeding+shaping and pruning+disease control.
