Application of Physical Methods in the Treatment of Pine Wilt Disease Epidemic Trees——Taking the Lianhua Mountain Protection Area in Liuzhou City as an Example
This paper analyzes the process of clearing epidemic trees in epidemic areas,the introduction of treat-ment methods for pine wilt disease epidemic trees,and the application of various methods.Before clearing the ep-idemic trees,an epidemic investigation and evaluation were conducted.Based on this,a plan for clearing the epi-demic trees was planned.The epidemic areas were sealed off to prevent the spread of the epidemic,and then the epidemic trees were cut down for treatment.The physical treatment methods of epidemic trees mainly include crushing(chipping)treatment,burning treatment,rotary cutting treatment,and steel wire mesh cover.When pro-cessing,it is necessary to choose appropriate treatment methods based on the actual situation to achieve the goal of effectively killing nematodes while minimizing resource waste and environmental pollution.At present,the Li-anhua Mountain Protection Center in Liuzhou City has disposed of over 40000 pine wilt disease epidemic trees in total;Microwave treatment and vacuum/steam treatment are the main development directions for the treatment of pine wilt disease epidemic trees in the Lianhua Mountain protected area of Liuzhou City in the future.This study emphasizes the importance of treating epidemic trees and provides various physical treatment methods.In the fu-ture,it is necessary to explore and improve measures for treating epidemic trees,and form a more scientific,eco-nomical,and environmentally friendly treatment system.
