Comparative Study on Promoting Green and High-Quality Development of Manufacturing Industry Through Scientific and Technological Innovation in Fujian Province
The manufacturing industry is the foundation of modern economy,and the green and high-quality de-velopment of the manufacturing industry is an inevitable requirement for China's economic development in the new era.Technological innovation driving the green and high-quality development of the manufacturing industry is an important part of building a modern country.This paper uses the SBM(slacks-based measure)model and en-tropy method to calculate and conduct regression analysis on the green and high-quality development of the man-ufacturing industry supported by scientific and technological innovation in Fujian Province.The empirical results show that technological innovation in Fujian Province promotes green development in the manufacturing industry,which is at a moderate level among the major provinces in the central and eastern regions.The consumption of power and water is higher than that of Shanghai,Zhejiang,Shandong,and Guangdong,and the emissions of sulfur dioxide,dust particles,and nitrogen oxides are higher than those of Shanghai,Jiangsu,Zhejiang,and Guangdong.Technological innovation drives high-quality development of the manufacturing industry,surpassing major manu-facturing provinces in the Middle East.By increasing investment in technological innovation,strengthening the scale of manufacturing industry and improving the scale of manufacturing industry,targeted suggestions are pro-posed in order to promote the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry in Fujian Province.
