Spatiotemporal Coupling Study of Ecological Protection and High-Quality Development in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle
In order to explore the coupling relationship between high-quality economic development and ecologi-cal protection in Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle,and to promote the sustainable development,this paper constructs a comprehensive evaluation index system with two systems of ecological protection and high-quality e-conomic development and 33 indicators in 8 dimensions,and calculates development index from 2010 to 2020 by using the entropy right TOPSIS model.Combined with the coupling coordination degree model,the coupling sys-tem and the evolution characteristics of the spatial and temporal pattern were analyzed,and then the relative de-velopment degree and the coefficient of variation method were further proved by the relative development degree and the coefficient of variation.The results show that ①The ecological protection level of economic circle shows a trend of"rapid growth-short decline-steady improvement".The development index rose to 0.585 from 0.448.The optimization pattern is continuous in space.②The level of high-quality economic development shows a sustained growth trend.The development index increased to 0.509 from 0.317.The"polar alone and central promotion"spa-tial distribution characteristics is gradually formed;③ The overall coupling and coordination in Chengdu-Chongqing region continues to improve.The level of coordination rises from primary coordination to intermediate coordination,which presents the geographical spatial characteristics of coordinated development of"two nuclear areas";④75％of the cities in the region realize the coordinated development of ecological protection and high-quality economic development.The development gap between cities is gradually narrowing.In the process of re-gional integration in the future,it is necessary to build the ecological protection barrier in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River,strive to improve the high-quality development level of the region,cultivate and develop regional innovative industries,promote the improvement of high-quality development and ecological protection level,and realize the sustainable development of economic society and ecological environment.
