Effects of Combined Application of Nitrogen and Phosphorus on the Growth of Pinus yunnanensis Franch seedlings
This study aims to explore the effects of different nitrogen phosphorus ratios on the growth and biomass accumulation of Pinus yunnanensis Franch seedlings.Pinus yunnanensis Franch.seedlings were selected as the re-search object and divided into five treatment groups, including control group A(CK)without fertilization and four treatment groups with different nitrogen phosphorus ratios. The seedling height, ground diameter, and overall bio-mass of each treatment group were separately measured. The results showed that the control group A without ferti-lization had the lowest seedling height and diameter growth, and the whole plant biomass was only 12.24 g/plant,indicating a significant limiting effect of nitrogen and phosphorus nutrient deficiency on the growth of Pinus yun-nanensis Franch..The application of low levels of nitrogen and phosphorus in treatment group B significantly im-proved the growth characteristics of seedlings, and the overall biomass of the plant increased by 34.02%compared to the control group.Furthermore, after optimizing the nitrogen phosphorus ratio in treatment group D,the overall biomass of the seedlings reached the highest value of 20.47 g/plant,which was 67.29%higher than the control group. However, when the concentration of nitrogen and phosphorus in treatment group E is too high, the trend of biomass increase slows down or even decreases.Research has confirmed that appropriate nitrogen and phosphorus application can significantly promote the growth of Pinus yunnanensis Franch.seedlings, especially in the case of moderate nitrogen and low phosphorus(such as treatment group D).Excessive nitrogen and phosphorus supply can inhibit plant growth. Therefore,a reasonable ratio of nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients plays an important role in the growth and biomass accumulation of Pinus yunnanensis Franch.seedlings.This discovery provides the-oretical guidance for forestry production and helps to develop more effective fertilization strategies.
