Effect of Nitrogen Fertilizer on the Growth of Cunninghamia lanceolata Seedlings
This study aims to explore the effects of different nitrogen levels on the growth of Cunninghamia lan-ceolata seedlings, and provide scientific basis for rational fertilization of Cunninghamia lanceolata seedlings.A randomized block design was used to conduct an experiment in Caiyun Town,Shizong County.Four treatment groups were set up,and different amounts of nitrogen fertilizer were applied to measure growth indicators such as seedling height, ground diameter, and biomass. The experimental results showed that different nitrogen levels had a significant impact on the growth of Cunninghamia lanceolata seedlings. With the increase of nitrogen levels, the seedling height, diameter, and biomass of various parts of Cunninghamia lanceolata seedlings show a trend of first increasing and then stabilizing.Treatment group C(4 g/plant)showed the best growth state, with significantly higher seedling height, ground diameter, and biomass in all parts compared with other treatment groups.Moderate nitrogen application can significantly promote the growth of Cunninghamia lanceolata seedlings, but excessive fertilization cannot further increase the growth rate and biomass of seedlings. Therefore,in actual production,rea-sonable fertilization should be applied based on the growth status and soil conditions of Cunninghamia lanceolata seedlings to improve their growth efficiency, while avoiding resource waste and environmental pollution. This study provides theoretical guidance for the scientific seedling cultivation of Cunninghamia lanceolata.
