Habitat Quality Assessment in Shilin County Based on InVEST Model
With the acceleration of urban renewal and construction in Shilin County,a series of ecological prob-lems have emerged.Evaluating the quality of the habitat in this area is of great significance for discovering poten-tial ecological environment problems in the county.Based on the InVEST model habitat quality module, combined with three periods of land use change data in Shilin County from 2000 to 2020,habitat quality results are obtained and their spatiotemporal evolution characteristics are analyzed. The results show that over time, the land cover types in Shilin County have changed, mainly manifested as the transfer of grassland and forest land, and the trans-fer of other cover types to cultivated land; From the overall situation, the average habitat quality index of the three phases in Shilin County is greater than 0.6,but it is in a downward trend overall. The spatial distribution of habitat quality shows a characteristic of high in the southeast and low in the northwest; The overall habitat quality of Shi-lin County is in a poor level and shows a declining trend year by year.As of 2020,it has exceeded 50%of the to-tal area of Shilin County.Among them,Shilin Street and Xijiekou Town have experienced a more severe decline compared to other areas, showing a trend of spreading from northwest to southeast. The proportion of poor levels has started to rise since 2010,accounting for 20.67%of the study area, which is closely related to the destruction of forest and grass vegetation. The research results provide strong support and reference for promoting sustainable ecological and healthy development and related environmental protection work in Shilin City.
