Study on Sustainable Management Strategies of Spartina Alterniflora in Guangxi Based on SWOT Analysis
Spartina alterniflora is the most important invasive species in coastal wetlands in China,and its man-agement has become an important task in the ecological restoration of coastal wetlands.Taking Guangxi as an ex-ample,the paper used the SWOT analysis to identify the advantages of the sustainable management of Spartina al-terniflora in Guangxi such as policy support at all levels,solid research foundation,professional teams and clear management direction,and find out disadvantages such as immature governance technology,insufficient informa-tion sharing,insufficient governance experience and insufficient scientific research investment.Therefore,the sus-tainable management of Spartina alterniflora is faced with situation such as"advantages coexisting with disadvan-tages and opportunities coexisting with threats".The paper put forward the following strategies and suggestions based on the above analysis:to strengthen scientific and technological research,and build a sustainable govern-ance technology system;to enhance sharing and coordination so as to accumulate experience in promoting sus-tainable governance;to support financially in a continuous manner in order to promote the monitoring and evalua-tion of the whole process of governance;to deal with the threat of proliferation,and strengthen supervision and ecological restoration,so as to promote the scientific management of Spartina alterniflora in Guangxi,and improve the quality and stability of the coastal wetland ecosystem.
