Comprehensive Evaluation of Cultivation of Cenruan No.3 Camellia oleifera in Hezhou City,Guangxi Province
In order to study the growth and economic traits of Cenruan No.3 Camellia oleifera in Hezhou City,the genetic variation characteristics and comprehensive evaluation of Cenruan No.3 Camellia oleifera in Hezhou City were carried out,and the key indexes suitable for the quality evaluation of Cenruan No.3 Camellia oleifera in Hezhou City were screened out.The evaluation and prediction model of Cenruan No.3 Camellia oleifera was con-structed to provide a reference for the cultivation and utilization of germplasm resources of Cenruan No.3 Camel-lia oleifera in Hezhou City.In this study,a total of 25 strains of Cenruan No.3 Camellia oleifera were selected from COA3-1 to COA3-25 in Babu District,Pinggui District,Zhaoping County,Zhongshan County and Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County of Hezhou City.Using the coefficient of variation method,correlation analysis,principal component analysis,stepwise regression analysis and systematic cluster analysis method,the growth indexes of Cenruan No.3,including tree height,DBH and crown width,as well as the economic traits of fresh fruit weight per plant,fresh fruit weight per plant and oil yield per plant,were comprehensively measured,analyzed and evaluated.The results showed that the variation range of each growth index was between 1.7%and 5.7%,and the variation coefficients of single fruit grain number,fruit transverse diameter,fruit shape index,peel thickness,100-grain weight and kernel oil content were between 1.7%and 3.0%,and the traits were relatively stable.A total of 30 pairs of correlation coefficients of each index reached a significant level(P<0.05).Among the three comprehen-sive indexes including ground diameter,crown area and single fresh fruit weight,the cumulative contribution rate was 90.05%.After comprehensive evaluation,the comprehensive performance of COA3-24,COA3-19 and COA3-17 was better.In the stepwise regression analysis,five key evaluation indexes were put forward,including 100-seed weight,fruit transverse diameter,fresh seed weight per plant,dry seed rate and fresh fruit seed rate.In the system cluster analysis,25 strains of Cenruan No.3 Camellia oleifera were screened out of the first type of high-quality and high-yield type,the second type of good type,and the third type of common type.
