Determination and Evaluation of Clonal Introduction of A.mangium × auriculaeformis From Southern Fujian Mountain
In order to select excellent clones of A.mangium × auriculaeformis for promotion and application in production,five introduction tests of clones were conducted.An analysis,evaluation,and selection of the adapta-bility,rapid growth,and stem development characteristics of 4 a clones were conducted,and the results showed that:the adaptability,rapid growth,and dry form characteristics of the five clones of A.mangium × auriculaefor-mis are superior to those of A.mangium(CK).Among them,A.mangium×auriculaeformis Zhongyan No.10 and Zhongyan No.73 performed relatively best.The preservation rate of the 4-year-old forest stand reaches 90％,with an average height,diameter at breast height,and volume of 8.55～8.84 m,9.44～9.84 cm,and 0.0315～0.0353 m3,re-spectively.It also has strong wind resistance,and the dry type is basically straight and complete.Other asexual strains or those with weak rapid growth,dry branching and bending,or poor wind resistance are temporarily not suitable for promotion and application.
