Living Street Space Evaluation Based on Quantitative Analysis——Taking Zhengzhou Shangcheng District as an Example
Taking the Shangcheng District of Erqi District of Zhengzhou City as an example,this study divides the living street space according to its constituent elements,and analyzes the street space from two dimensions of ex-ternal representation and spatial composition.A total of 19 streets,such as Duling Street and Shuncheng Street,were selected for analysis,and each element of living street space in the old city was evaluated by quantitative a-nalysis method.Through field investigation and data sorting,combined with evaluation model evaluation,the ad-vantages and disadvantages of street space were comprehensively evaluated.It is found that factors such as pedes-trian friendliness and behavior type directly affect the vitality of street space,while the design of bottom interface and side interface affect people's psychological feelings about street space.The results showed that Duling North Street and Xili Road had better performance in crowd attraction,while Erqi Road and Huarong Street had more re-pellent factors.Based on the analysis results,optimization strategies are proposed,including people-oriented de-sign ideas,improving the street section forms,and creating rich street space atmosphere,so as to enhance the life and vitality of street space.
