Value Evaluation of Ancient Trees in Xishan Local Chronicles Academy
Ancient trees are living relics to witness history and have great value.In this paper,the adjustment coef-ficient method was used to evaluate the value of 25 second-class ancient trees in Xishan local chronicles academy.The accumulative value was 53265210.49 yuan.The values of the ancient trees ranged from 655652.73 yuan to 9343919.80 yuan,because of the difference in the budget prices of the seedlings,growth potential and diameter at breast height.The value of Sophora japonica was the highest(9343919.80 Yuan),and the lowest was two weak Platycladus orientalis(655652.73 yuan).The main reasons for the value difference of the ancient trees in the same area were the differences in diameter at breast height and growth potential.
