Discussion on the Technique of Cultivating Large-Diameter Timber Reserve Forest of Pinus massoniana in Bazhou District
The cultivation of large-diameter timber reserve forest is helpful to alleviate the tension of timber stra-tegic resources in China.Pinus massoniana is the main tree species for cultivating large-diameter timber reserve forest in Bazhou District.In order to achieve better effect of cultivating large-diameter timber reserve forest,this paper,according to the site conditions of Bazhou District,adopted scientific measures for the cultivation of exist-ing forest,middle-young forest care and Bursaphelenchus xylophilus control.Based on the existing technical reg-ulations and practical experience of reserve forest cultivation,a set of effective technology for cultivating large-di-ameter timber reserve forest of Pinus massoniana forest was summarized,in order to provide a reference for the development model of Pinus massoniana reserve forest in northeast Sichuan.
