Current Status of Soil Invertebrate Resources in Guangdong Xiangtoushan National Nature Reserve
This paper systematically investigates the diversity of soil invertebrates within the Guangdong Xiang-toushan National Nature Reserve.Through field collection and laboratory analysis,a total of 124 species of soil invertebrates were identified, representing 124 different categories, belonging to 3 phyla,4 classes,12 orders, and 35 families. These include insects, annelids, mollusks, and crustaceans. These invertebrates play a key role in eco-logical processes such as litter decomposition, material cycling, and energy flow, and are crucial for the health and stability of ecosystems. This study aims to assess the species diversity of soil invertebrates in the reserve and to propose corresponding conservation and management suggestions.
