Case Study on the Upgrading and Renovation Process Design of a Sewage Treatment Plant in Xinjiang Region
The sewage treatment plant in Xinjiang has a treatment capacity of 4.0×104 m3/d.Considering the ex-isting problems in the operation of the sewage treatment plant and the improvement of discharge standards,it is necessary to carry out upgrading and renovation.The removal of TN,TP,SS,etc.is the key to the upgrading and transformation.The main focus is on the renovation of the reflux,stirring,and aeration facilities in the original Bardenpho biological tank process,as well as the addition of fine grids and regulating tank pretreatment processes,air flotation tanks,and deep treatment processes for homogeneous quartz sand filter media.Since the completion and operation of the upgrading and renovation project,the operating conditions have met the design requirements,and the effluent quality COD,BOD5,SS,NH3-N,TN,and TP have all stabilized and met the Class A discharge standards.
