Application and Investigation of Aromatic Plants at Jianghan University
Promoting the application of aromatic plants in colleges and universities can not only enhance the land-scape effect of the five senses,but also effectively soothe students and achieve healing effect.Taking Jianghan U-niversity as an example,this study selected seven plots in the teaching and living areas,except the Weiming Mountain,to investigate the plant species,ornamental characteristics,life types,aromatic parts and vertical struc-tures of plant community by the equidistant sampling method.The results show that there are 75 species of aro-matic plants in 30 families,71.05％of which are floral.The vertical structure of the community is dominated by trees and shrubs,accounting for 90.48％of the statistical sample.In view of the above-mentioned shortcomings,the paper finally puts forward the transformation design scheme of local green space,and the optimization sugges-tion of plant landscape based on the results of questionnaire survey.
