Characterization of Urban Green Space Evolution and Driving Mechanisms Based on Intensity Analysis and PLUS Model—A Case Study of Hengyang City
In the context of global warming,it is important to study the spatial and temporal evolution patterns and drivers of urban green space for the protection of urban green space and the response of urban thermal environ-ment.The intensity characteristics of urban green space changes in Hengyang City from 2002 to 2022 were identi-fied by intensity analysis and PLUS model, and the driving mechanisms of urban green space changes were re-vealed.Research results:①the intensity of urban green space change in Hengyang City during the 20-year period showed an upward trend, and the area of urban green space change increased from 1355.87 km2 to 1642.64 km2.The increase in the area of productive planting area was dominated by a net increase, and the water body changed from a net decrease to a net increase;②the productive plantation area, ecological greenland and wetland water body are all dominated by exchange changes. The main source of the increase in the productive plantation area is ecological greenland.Similarly, the productive plantation area stabilizes and tends to be converted into ecological greenland.③elevation,precipitation and population density are the main factors affecting the change of urban green space. It will provide a decision-making reference for the sustainable development of urban green space, and will also help other cities in China to respond to the call of"ecological utilization, ecological security, and green development"of land in the process of urbanization.
