Effects of Different Single Factor Treatments on Survival of Pterocarya stenoptera Cuttings
Taking Pterocarya stenoptera as the object, this paper studies the effect of different treatments on its spike survival, aims to screen out the best cuttings combination, provides theoretical support for maple poplar's garden application. The results show that P.stenoptera cuttings are better in May,with a survival rate of 65.3%.The rooting and germination performance of the mixed substrate type of red soil:peat soil:coir was better than that of the light substrate type of pure red soil and peat soil:coir.Different exogenous hormone types and con-centrations had significant effects on the rooting of P.stenoptera, and the cuttings of P.stenoptera spikes treated with rooting powder at a concentration of 300 mg/L for 1 h had the highest survival rate of 97.1%;in addition, naphthalene acetic acid treatment was also beneficial to improve the survival rate of cuttings of P.stenopterar spikes. In conclusion, the use of 300 mg/L rooting powder for 1 h,and the use of a 4∶1∶1 volume ratio of red soil:peat soil:shredded coco coir mixed substrate in May cuttings is conducive to improve the survival rate of P.stenoptera cuttings.
