Effect of Fertilization Methods on the Yield and Quality of Camellia Oleifera
As an important woody oil crop,the fertilization method is crucial for the growth of Camellia oleifera.This study was conducted in Biling Village,Zuoba Township,Susong County,Anhui Province,which has a typical Camellia oleifera planting environment.Camellia oleifera plants with good growth conditions and similar tree ages are selected,and four fertilization treatments(control CK,conventional compound fertilizer fertilization,organic fertilizer fertilization,and mixed fertilization of compound fertilizer and organic fertilizer)are set up.Growth in-dicators such as plant height,ground diameter,crown width,as well as yield and quality indicators such as fruit yield,kernel yield,seed yield,and fresh fruit oil content are measured.The results showed that in terms of growth indicators,the combination of compound fertilizer and organic fertilizer(treatment 4)had the best effect,with sig-nificant increases in plant height,ground diameter,and crown width;In terms of yield and quality,treatment 4 performed the best,with higher single fruit quality,kernel yield,seed yield,fresh fruit oil content,and yield growth rate than other treatments.Treatment 4 fertilization method is optimal.In terms of promoting the growth and improving the yield and quality of Camellia oleifera,the combination of compound fertilizer and organic fer-tilizer has shown the best performance.
