By analyzing the development status of Tengchong's forest and grass resources and forestry and grass industry,it is found that there are some problems in the high-quality development of Tengchong's forest and grass industry.The development state of"large resources,small industries,and low efficiency",the level of forest man-agement needs to be improved.Non-timber forest-based industry space is underutilized.The characteristic native seedling industry lacks dominant varieties;the processing of timber and non-wood forest products lacks leading enterprises;the development of forest health care industry is far from expectations;the industrial land guarantee is insufficient,and the construction of roads in forest areas lags behind.Relevant suggestions for the high-quality development of Tengchong's forest and grass industry are proposed:accurately locating the development direction of Tengchong forest and grass industry,strengthening forest management,improving the utilization rate of forest land space,cultivating high-quality seedlings with local characteristics,cultivating and expanding market entities,vigorously developing forest health care industry,scientifically using forest land resources,increasing the con-struction of forest roads,and strengthening scientific and technological support.The development direction of Tengchong forest and grass industry is analyzed,and it is suggested that Tengchong forest and grass should main-ly develop eight major industries:timber forest cultivation industry,characteristic economic forest industry,Teng-chong Camellia chekiangoleosa Hu industry,characteristic native seedling industry,product processing industry,non-timber forest-based industry,grass industry and forest health tourism.
