Research on High Yield Planting Mode of Eucalyptus in Guangxi State-Owned Gaofeng Forest Farm
This study aims to explore the high-yield planting mode of Eucalyptus trees in Guangxi State-Owned Gaofeng Forest Farm.In the autumn of 2022,terrain selection experiments with different slope orientations and positions,planting density experiments with three different densities,fertilization experiments with four fertiliza-tion schemes,and mixed mode selection experiments with three mixed modes were conducted at the State-Owned Gaofeng Forest Farm in Guangxi.The results showed that:①the growth of Eucalyptus trees on half sunny slope and upper slope was the best,and tree height and DBH were significantly higher than other treatments(P<0.05);②the diameter at breast height of Eucalyptus trees was the largest at a density of 83 plants/667m2,significantly larger than other densities(P<0.05),but the difference in tree height was not significant;③the combination of or-ganic fertilizer and precision formula fertilizer showed the best effect,with significantly higher average tree height and breast height diameter of Eucalyptus trees compared to other treatments(P<0.05);④the height and diameter at breast height of Eucalyptus trees in the mixed mode with Machilus pauhoi Kaneh.or Castanopsis hystrix Hook.were significantly higher than those in the pure Eucalyptus forest(P<0.05).Research has shown that the high-yield planting mode of Eucalyptus trees in Guangxi's State-Owned Gaofeng Forest Farm should choose semi sun-ny slopes or uphill positions,adopt a medium planting density(111 plants/667m2),and use a fertilization scheme of organic fertilizer combined with precision formula fertilizer;in addition,the mixed use of Eucalyptus and Machilus pauhoi Kaneh.or Castanopsis hystrix Hook.can significantly increase the growth of Eucalyptus.When creating mixed forests,the use of Machilus pauhoi Kaneh.or Castanopsis hystrix Hook.can be considered.
