Research on the Design Strategy of Embedded Elderly Care Facilities in Community Transformation
Embedded elderly care facilities integrate the advantages of community home-based elderly care serv-ices and institutional elderly care services.In the context of my country's rapid aging population,there is a huge social demand for them.Relying on urban communities to meet the needs of the elderly in a familiar environment,this paper first defines the definition of embedded elderly care facilities and analyzes their main characteristics;then the problems existing in the practical application of such facilities are summarized;finally,it proposes specif-ic design strategies from five aspects:the type of facilities is determined according to demand;the system based on demand is constructed;the design with operation logic is guided;the concept of resource sharing is designed;"people-oriented"is used as the design evaluation standard.It also points out the need to further refine the re-search on the individual differential needs of the elderly.At the same time,it emphasizes the importance of policy support and capital investment for the development of embedded elderly care facilities.
