Research on the Synergistic Relationship Between the Quantity of Arable Land Resources and the Level of Urbanization in Beilun District,Ningbo City
With the acceleration of urbanization, the extensive loss of arable land resources poses a huge threat to regional food security.Coordinating the protection of arable land resources and urbanization development is con-ducive to promoting sustainable development in the region. This paper takes Beilun District,Ningbo City as an example.Based on obtaining effective data, relevant formulas are used to calculate the rate of change in the quan-tity of arable land resources and the evolution rate of urbanization level in the district from 2012 to 2016.On this basis,a coordination degree model is used to evaluate the synergistic relationship between the two.The results show that the area of cultivated land resources and the area of cultivated land per capita in Beilun District are de-clining year by year. The area of cultivated land resources per capita in this area is far below the warning level of the area of cultivated land resources per capita in China, which seriously threatens regional food security and is not conducive to the sustainable use of cultivated land resources. The urbanization development of Beilun District has entered the mid-term stage. The industrial foundation of the district is relatively strong. The economic strength has significantly increased. The agricultural labor productivity has greatly improved, and the industrial develop-ment has absorbed a large number of agricultural population, playing an important role in improving the local em-ployment level. The changes in the quantity of arable land resources and the evolution of urbanization level in Beilun District show a fluctuating relationship of barely reconciling, not reconciling, reconciling, and barely rec-onciling.The overall trend of arable land resources is declining or barely maintaining within the threshold of car-rying capacity. This urbanization evolution, which sacrifices arable land resources, seriously restricts the sustain-able development of the region.Through this study, the following suggestions can be proposed:firstly,it is strictly prohibited to construct and occupy arable land, and the use of arable land resources should be regulated. The sec-ond is to implement the system of balancing the occupation and compensation of arable land, emphasizing the e-qual importance of quantity and quality.Thirdly, comprehensive land consolidation work should be actively car-ried out and reserve arable land resources should be increased to ensure regional food security.
