Research on Maintenance and Conservation Strategies of Cultural Characteristics in Urban Public Space Renewal—Taking Taikoo Li,Kuanzhai Alley and Eastern Suburb Memory in Chengdu as Examples
With the continuous advancement of urban renewal in China,the improvement of urban space quality and connotation is becoming more and more important.The maintenance of urban cultural characteristics has be-come an important aspect of urban renewal and personalized development.Through theoretical research,taking Taikoo Li,Kuanzhai Alley and Eastern Suburb Memory of Chengdu as examples,the characteristics of cultural connotation,spatial noumenon and crowd activities are compared and analyzed.It is concluded that the expression and maintenance of the cultural characteristics of Chengdu urban public space mainly lie in the aspects of cultural types,cultural elements,spatial structures,cultural expressions,function orientation and activity types.On this ba-sis,the paper puts forward four cultural characteristics maintenance strategies,including cultural combing,space construction,format guidance and activity injection,which provides a reference for the expression of cultural characteristics of public space under urban renewal.
