Research on the Renovation Planning of Historical Blocks Under Urbanization—A Case Study of Guandi Temple Historical Block in Xinxiang
With the acceleration of urbanization, how to effectively protect and transform historical districts in ur-ban planning,as well as balance the inheritance of historical heritage and meet the needs of modern urban devel-opment,has become a research topic. This paper takes the Guandi Temple Historical and Cultural District in Xinx-iang City,Henan Province as an example, and conducts research through literature review, field research, and questionnaire surveys.A combination of qualitative and quantitative methods is used to evaluate the current situa-tion,problems,and development of the neighborhood after renovation.Research has found that although historical districts have undergone planning and renovation, there are still problems such as excessive commercial develop-ment,insufficient infrastructure, and obstacles to the inheritance of historical and cultural heritage.Therefore,his-toric districts should be transformed and planned according to their unique regional cultural characteristics,sus-tainable development ideas and directions, and tailored to local conditions. The renovation planning of historical districts under urbanization should follow the principle of heritage protection and moderate development.Atten-tion should be paid to the inheritance of history and culture. With the goal of scientific and sustainable develop-ment,corresponding regulatory mechanisms and evaluation systems should be established to achieve the coordina-ted development of culture, economy, and society in historic districts.
