This study empirically investigates the sustainable development path of homestays from the perspective of tourist perceptions using the Structural Equation Modeling(SEM)method.Drawing from previous research, four hypotheses of impact paths were proposed, and a corresponding measurement scale was designed. The study then conducted empirical research using the SEM method. The results show that the findings show that the influ-ence coefficient of cultural experience on customer satisfaction is 0.89;the influence coefficient of service quality on customer satisfaction is 0.19;the influence coefficient of service price on customer satisfaction is-0.01,and the influence coefficient of customer satisfaction on the sustainable development of homestays is 0.99.Therefore,cultural experience and customer satisfaction are positively correlated;service quality and customer satisfaction are positively correlated;service price and customer satisfaction are negatively correlated, and customer satisfac-tion and homestay sustainability are positively correlated. The study offers three key insights including enhancing distinctive services, strengthening talent foundations, and actively integrating with other business models.
