Research on the Impact Paths of Digital Economy on Carbon Emissions in the Yangtze River Delta Region From a Spatial Perspective
From a spatial perspective, this paper uses a Spatial Econometric Model(SEM)to deeply explore the impact path of digital economy on carbon emissions in the Yangtze River Delta region. It is found that the digital economy has a significant negative impact on carbon emissions through multi-dimensional paths such as techno-logical innovation, industrial structure optimization and energy efficiency improvement. The empirical results show that the development of digital economy not only directly reduces carbon emissions in the region, but also indirectly reduces carbon emissions in neighboring regions through technology diffusion and industrial chain link-age.This study provides a scientific basis for the Yangtze River Delta region to achieve green and low-carbon development, and provides empirical support for the formulation of regional coordinated carbon emission reduc-tion policies. The results suggest increasing investment in technological innovation, optimizing industrial struc-tures and strengthening regional cooperation to promote green development in the Yangtze River Delta region.
