Analysis on the Changing Trend of Saltwater Intrusion in Guangzhou Sea Area From 2018 to 2022
In order to prevent saltwater intrusion and improve the marine monitoring capacity of Guangzhou, this paper analyzes the changing trend of saltwater intrusion in the dry seasons from 2018 to 2022 in Guangzhou Sea Area by using the salinity data of automatic monitoring stations built by Guangzhou Geological Survey Institute. The results show that the annual average salinity value in the dry season of Guangzhou Sea Area shows an in-creasing trend year by year, and the trend of saltwater intrusion is strengthened year by year. The salinity values in the dry seasons of 2022 and 2021 were significantly higher than those of the same period in 2018-2020.In recent years, the months with the strongest saltwater intrusion have mainly been January,December, and February. It is suggested to pay more attention to saltwater intrusion, perfect the construction of observation stations and enhance the quality of observational data. The ability to prevent and respond to the disaster should also be enhanced by taking measures such as establishing a complete warning mechanism, adopting water diversion to dilute saline wa-ter and strengthening management of river dredging.
