Determination of Odorous Substances in Water by Solid Phase Microextraction and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry
In this paper,Solid Phase Microextraction(SPME)combined with Gas Chromatography-Mass Spec-trometry(GC-MS)was used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of odorous substances in water. In view of the serious impact of water odor on the environment and residents'life, the research status of odor detection at home and abroad was reviewed, and the experimental process was described in detail. The optimum experimental param-eters were determined by optimizing several conditions of SPE,including coating selection, sodium chloride addi-tion,extraction time, extraction temperature, oscillation speed and desorption time. The experimental results show that the method has good linear relationship and low detection limit, and can accurately and sensitively detect odorous substances in water. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the method were verified by actual sample analysis, which provided a scientific basis for the monitoring and control of odorous substances in water.
