A Study on the Multidimensional Impact of Pocket Parks on Residents'Health and Human Settlements—A Case Study of Wuhua District,Kunming City
This study investigates the multidimensional health impacts of pocket parks within the context of Kun-ming's"Hundred Park Construction"initiative,focusing on Wuhua District as a representative case.This study,based on Kunming's"Hundred Park Construction"initiative,conducts an in-depth investigation into the multidi-mensional health impacts of pocket parks in Wuhua District.It systematically explores their comprehensive bene-fits on both human health and environmental health.For human health,the study focuses on evaluating the posi-tive impacts of pocket parks on physical health,mental well-being,and social health.For environmental health,the analysis encompasses ecological health,landscape health,and safety health indicators.Utilizing a mixed-methods approach,the research collected extensive user experience data through structured offline questionnaires,with subsequent statistical analysis performed using SPSS software.The results indicate that pocket parks significantly enhance physical fitness,alleviate psychological stress,and promote community interaction.Additionally,they play a positive role in improving the ecological environment,beautifying the urban landscape,and enhancing pub-lic safety.Through a systematic study of the multidimensional impacts of pocket parks in Wuhua District on health,this paper provides a scientific reference for urban park planning and green infrastructure development in Kunming City.
