Research and practice on improving the heat transfer efficiency of heat exchangers in sulphuric acid system
The process flow of the purification process and drying and absorption process in a 500 kt/a smelting flue gas acid making system,as well as the operation status of the plate heat exchanger in the purification process and the sulphuric acid cooler with anodic protection in the drying and absorption process are introduced.During operation,fouling and blockage cause a continuous decrease in the heat exchange efficiency of the plate heat exchanger and the sulphuric acid cooler with anodic protection,affecting production operation,leading to increase in energy consumption and increase in acid production cost.After disassembling and cleaning the heat exchanger,the heat exchange efficiency of the equipment is significantly improved,and the energy consumption of the sulphuric acid system is reduced,ensuring the normal operation of the device.
